The Northwest Catholic Counseling Center (NCC) team is highly trained in many specialized, evidence-based therapies. This means our methods are backed by scientific research. Our providers receive ongoing training and supervision to ensure you receive the best care possible.

- Trauma, including cultural trauma and acculturative stress (the stress of adapting to a new culture)

Our therapists use a variety of tools, including:
- CBT & ACT: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
- Trauma-Specific Care: Including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Narrative Therapy.
- Couples Counseling: Using Gottman Level 1 and 2 training and Emotional Focused Therapy.
- Play Therapy: Techniques specifically for children and younger clients.
