Our Clinical Approach

The Northwest Catholic Counseling Center (NCC) team is highly trained in many specialized, evidence-based therapies. This means our methods are backed by scientific research. Our providers receive ongoing training and supervision to ensure you receive the best care possible.

Our therapists use a variety of tools, including:

  • CBT & ACT: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
  • Trauma-Specific Care: Including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Narrative Therapy
  • Couples Counseling: Using Gottman Level 1 and 2 training and Emotional Focused Therapy
  • Play Therapy: Techniques specifically for children and younger clients

Our clinical team approaches every session in a trauma-informed, culturally adapted, and compassionate manner. We work to create a safe, respectful environment where you feel heard.

  • Children: A parent or guardian can complete the form for minors.
